Alan Moore wrote Batman: The Killing Joke in 1988. Brian Bolland drew it. This was the gateway — the book that made comics feel like something that could carry real weight, real darkness, the kind of story you go back to because you didn’t catch everything the first time. It’s not a comfortable read. It’s not meant to be. That’s the point.
Jokes on You is a matte crelly — the finish reads like frosted glass, a soft, particular depth that sits somewhere unexpected. In the shade it’s a bright acid green; hit sunlight and it shifts to a deep, moody purple. The duality feels right for a Joker polish. One bad day, two completely different looks.
